At The Tallow Shop, every product is handcrafted in small batches with thoughtfully sourced, skin‑supporting ingredients. We truly hope you love what you receive.

Because our items are personal care products, we’re unable to accept returns once they have been opened or used. However, if there’s ever an issue with your order, please reach out — we care deeply about your experience and will always do our best to help.

Shipping Protection

We strongly recommend selecting shipping protection at checkout to safeguard your package against loss, theft, or damage during transit.

If you added shipping protection to your order, please refer to the confirmation email for instructions on filing a claim. Claims are handled directly through the protection provider for a quick replacement or reimbursement.

If shipping protection was not selected, we will certainly try to assist if an issue arises, but we cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for packages that are lost or damaged in transit.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please email hello@thetallowshop.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can review it promptly.

If you purchased shipping protection, we encourage you to submit a claim as outlined in your confirmation email. If not, reach out to us and we will review your situation individually.


Subscription Orders

When you enroll in a subscription, your order will automatically renew and ship based on the schedule you select (for example, every 4, 6, or 8 weeks). A reminder email will be sent before each renewal.

Managing Your Subscription

To maintain accurate inventory and consistent fulfillment, subscriptions may be edited or canceled after your second order has processed (your initial order plus one renewal).

After that point, you may:

  • Adjust your delivery schedule
  • Swap products or scents
  • Change your shipping frequency
  • Cancel future shipments anytime

Prior to the second processed order, subscriptions remain active to honor the initial offer and ensure smooth fulfillment.


Orders After Renewal

Once a subscription renewal has processed or shipped, that order cannot be canceled or refunded. You may still modify or cancel future renewals after your second completed order.


Final Sale Policy

Due to the handmade and personal nature of our skincare products, all sales are final once shipped.

We cannot offer refunds based on scent preference, texture variations, or personal skin sensitivities. We provide full ingredient transparency on every product page so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.


Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We are able to issue a full refund only if the order has not yet shipped. Once shipped, refunds cannot be processed.
