Cancellation policy

At The Tallow Shop, we offer both one‑time purchases and subscription purchase options for your convenience. Please review the following terms carefully before completing your order.


One‑Time Purchases

Orders placed as a one‑time purchase are processed within our standard processing window (typically 2–5 business days).

If you need to cancel a one‑time order, you must contact us at hello@thetallowshop.com before the order has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.


Subscription Purchase Options

When you select a subscription option at checkout, you agree to recurring charges at the frequency you choose (for example, every 4, 6, or 8 weeks). Your payment method will be automatically charged at each renewal until the subscription is canceled.

You will receive notification prior to each renewal.


Editing or Canceling a Subscription

To maintain consistent inventory and fulfillment, subscriptions may be edited or canceled after your second processed order (your initial order plus one renewal).

After your second order has processed, you may:

  • Update your shipping frequency
  • Swap eligible products or scents
  • Change your next shipment date
  • Cancel future renewals

Requests must be made before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming shipment.


Cancellation Timing

  • If a subscription renewal has already been processed or shipped, that order cannot be canceled or refunded.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted prior to the renewal processing date.
  • Once processed, all subscription orders are considered final sale.
